About a Girl Named Honor

I’m Honor, and I really like making stuff.

Things I Enjoy.

Welcome! Here’s where you can learn all about A Girl Named Honor. In addition to drawing, I like eating and drinking my way through new cities, making eye contact with animals, spoken word, hot yoga, riding bikes in rainstorms, controlled spontaneity, binge watching shows that evoke equal parts laughter and tears, collecting sentimental knick knacks and tattoos, making spaces beautiful (usually with books and thrifted treasures), handwritten letters, stories of redemption, playing board games, and having deep conversations with good company.

My goal is to use words and imagery to empower, build bridges, tend to wounds, and eradicate loneliness and shame.

Here you will find an assortment of my illustrated reveries. I am learning to pour sorrow and anger, despair and confusion into something redemptive and hopeful because it helps me heal. I am trying to live in such a way that makes living easier for other beings and still figuring out what exactly that means.

My hope for you is that you find or create spaces where every part of you is welcome, where you can breathe, where you can rest, where you can celebrate your strength and inherent goodness.

Thank you for being.

With a whole lot of love,
Honor
