I was born in Nepal, grew up in the Midwest (Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri), studied/volunteered in New York, South Africa, India, and Thailand, and now live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. All of these places and the people in them are a part of me I will always cherish.

As much as we like to emphasize individuality in our culture today, our humanity is inextricably bound up in others’. As a body or machine is made up of different parts, we all serve unique purposes that work together for the greater whole. We need to stop pretending that we don’t need each other.

I like to think of this category as a celebration of the many manifestations of love that bring splendor and dimension to being.
