Brave girl, you were made to do hard things, so believe in yourself.
Feminism is for everyone. No matter what negative connotations just popped into your mind, it’s simply about honoring everyone’s personhood. It’s about acknowledging that we’re all allowed to take up space and recognizing that we didn’t all start equidistant from the finish line.
Before I found feminism, I felt pressure to be as small and as out of the way as I could. Feminism told me I have something worth contributing. It taught me that women are my allies, not my competition. We owe it to our foremothers to stand in solidarity and proudly advocate feminism. This is one way I celebrate the humans that carry and sustain me.
